First, he was arrested on felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance charges in New York City. After officers responded to a disturbance at a private residence.
It sounds like Cudi got into an argument with an unidentified 24-year-old woman. Sources tell TMZ that he smashed the woman's phone on the ground, and somehow pulled her apartment door off its hinges.
And all we know about the "controlled substance" is that it was supposedly discovered in a glass bottle.
Despite the arrest, Cudi was still able to make it to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. He flew into Manchester, Tennessee, later that night and got there in time for his scheduled performance slot at 2:00 A.M.
Cudi's people have yet to comment on the arrest.
