American Idol" Will Reportedly Pay Jennifer Lopez $12 Million

There still hasn't been an official announcement . . . but there are some new, UNOFFICIAL reports that JENNIFER LOPEZ has been locked in as an "American Idol" judge.



--Deadline.com claims J-Lo will receive $12 MILLION . . . (--Which, from what we've heard, would be roughly $8 million MORE than they were offering PAULA ABDUL last year.)


--J-Lo was reportedly holding out for $15 million, but "Idol" didn't budge. But that wasn't all she was demanding.


--Supposedly, J-Lo wanted a side-deal to develop TV shows and movies for herself. But again, Fox and "American Idol" said thanks but no thanks.


--A while back, we'd heard that J-Lo almost LOST the gig because she was being a DIVA. This new report backs that up . . . saying that she repeatedly threatened to drop out unless she got what she wanted, but Fox called her bluff.
