R.I.P Gary Coleman

GARY COLEMAN died Friday afternoon, after suffering a brain hemorrhage at his Utah home on Wednesday. He was 42.

According to a statement from his management, Gary was, quote, "conscious and lucid" on Thursday morning . . . and on life support by Thursday afternoon.

The statement added, quote, "Family members and close friends were at his side when life support was terminated" on Friday.

The family will reveal the details surrounding Gary's death soon. In the meantime, some news outlets have reported that Gary suffered another seizure, fell and hit his head.

Gary was, of course, THE star of the sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes" from 1978 to 1986, and the highest-paid child actor of that era. By some estimates, he was banking $100,000 per episode.
