According to a survey, 88% of parents say they discipline their kids by reasoning with them, and explaining what they did wrong.

--70% take away privileges, or something the kid enjoys.

--And 59% use timeouts or grounding to keep their kids in line.

--Meanwhile, just 22% of parents say they'd consider spanking their kids. And only 10% would think about using a paddle on their kids.
