Happy Thanksgiving from "The Big Show!"

Hope everyone has had a great Holiday so far! I've had so much great food and it's always nice to catch up with the family. Shonuff, a good friend, made this crazy 22lb turkey that looked crazy. He wrapped it entirely with bacon, covered it in this honey liquor, beer, green chile, and salsa. And there were all these green onion stalks sticking out from behind the legs. It was a monstrosity. He was just putting it in the oven, so it was unfortunate that I couldn't taste it. There was talks about having a gravy drinking contest, because a day prior Sho was drunk and had been throwing back the ladle. He said he must have drank at least 10 ladles of turkey gravy with his dinner and it was delicious.

Some of our friends live door to door on Idaho. There's Tim, then Sho, then Mike, then Josh. All neighbors, and they made a butt load of turkeys leading up to Thanksgiving. They must have made at least a dozen.

I went to town in the kitchen too. I made made a bunch of pies, bread, and a lot of deserts. Took 'em all to my Ma's house in Deming and we had a great feast.

All in all Thanksgiving was awesome. No fist fights, no drunks raising a ruckous, which is definetly a change (and in fact I'd rather those be included because it's much more entertaining.)

One day left, to enjoy before it's back to work.
